sable + suede began at a kitchen table — experimenting with wax, testing blends, and chasing a feeling more than a product.

we couldn’t find scents that felt like how we wanted our space to feel — soft, balanced, and quietly present. everything was either too strong, too sweet, or gone too quickly. so we started making our own.

what began as small batches for ourselves slowly became something more. each fragrance was refined over time — adjusted, reworked, and tested again until it felt right. not just in how it smelled, but in how it settled into a room.

today, every candle is still poured by hand in northern ireland, using the same process — measured, mixed, and finished with care. our numbered scents reflect that journey. each one is a composition, built deliberately, designed to be returned to.

we focus on the details others overlook — the weight in your hand, the texture of the vessel, the way a scent lingers long after the flame is gone.
